Our Story

iM Global Partner opened the doors to our first office in 2015 with a simple idea: build a partnership-driven firm with global ambition and long-term values.

Philippe Couvrecelle launched the business, joined from day one by Jean Maunoury, and together they set the tone for a company based on our founding values of Entrepreneurial Spirit, Longevity, Respect with Challenge and Integrity.  That same year, our first Partner, Polen Capital, joined us, closely followed by several others, Dolan McEniry in 2016, and Sirios and DBi by 2018. At the same time, we expanded across the US and Europe, growing our team from 7 to 17 and opening an office in Paris to complement our existing London base.

As our footprint grew, so did our ambition. Between 2020 and 2022, we welcomed new Partners, including Zadig, RBA, APA, and Berkshire, and moved into larger offices in London, Paris, and LA. We also launched our Donations Fund and expanded into wealth management, adding top talent to lead the charge.

In 2023, we opened our first office in the Nordics, adding to our existing European distribution coverage in French-speaking Europe, UK, Iberia, Italy and the DACH region.  We welcomed our 10th Partner, Trinity Street, in 2024.

For the last three years, we have held either “Great Place to Work” or “Best Workplace” accreditation for all our main offices, a reflection of the culture we’ve built together.

From two people with a vision to a global network of exceptional partners, our journey is just getting started, and we’re only going forward.
