Trinity Global

Capitalising on unrecognised structural change across a Global remit.

The Trinity Global Equity Strategy applies the same disciplined investment process as the EAFE/International strategy, with a broader universe that includes US equities. However, it maintains a differentiated profile, with US exposure averaging 40–45% over three, five, and ten-year periods—significantly below that of the MSCI ACWI benchmark. This allocation, which is the result of their bottom up approach, provides investors seeking diversification beyond traditional benchmarks, a complementary global equity solution. Backed by a long-term philosophy and entrepreneurial mindset, the strategy reflects our commitment to offering institutional clients a well designed and differentiated approach to global equity investing.

Investment Philosophy

At the core of TSAM’s investment philosophy is a commitment to uncovering companies undergoing significant structural change. Unconstrained by traditional style labels, TSAM is both opportunistic and style agnostic, allowing the team to pursue the most compelling investment ideas across sectors and geographies. Each investment must demonstrate a minimum of 50% upside potential over a two-to-three-year horizon to be considered for inclusion, ensuring a disciplined focus on asymmetric return opportunities. This high-conviction philosophy is executed through a bottom-up, concentrated portfolio approach that reflects deep conviction and long-term thinking.

The investment team conducts rigorous, first-hand analysis, grounded in extensive company meetings and direct engagement with management teams. Independent research lies at the heart of idea generation, with a focus on identifying businesses that are strategically or operationally inflecting in ways not yet fully priced by the market. Every position in the portfolio is the result of a thorough, fundamentals-based inquiry, underpinned by a collaborative team process and a shared commitment to intellectual integrity.

The global high yield market has become structurally higher quality over the past two decades.
